Job Summary
Responsible for planning and coordinating systems design and implementation of pricebook related projects including the development of procedures, information flow, and documentation as it relates to the price book. Planning workflow will concentrate in the areas of the pricebook, store support, decision support systems, wholesale grocer information system, and the vendor EDI interface.
The position is also responsible for procurement of UPC and other related item information from vendors or other sources. In addition, the position supports the functional integration price book and POS devices. The position is responsible for the identification of Marketing, Accounts Payable and pricebook interdepartmental needs and solutions to manage the increased demands for the timely and accurate flow of data that effects these departments. Such projects involve the development of new data processing, database, or reporting systems or modification of existing systems. As a member of the Marketing department the position is also responsible for maintaining our digital, mobile, social media, and web-site initiatives.
Reports to: Director of Marketing (or VP of Retail)
Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Responsible for the day-to-day activities and the results of those activities relating to the operation of the company's pricebook database.
Completes assigned vendor implementation projects in a timely manner.
Meets project objectives, providing accurate data to drive item level receiving and scanning systems.
Ensures minimal disruption of ongoing pricebook data processing through effective coordination.
Provides training, operational and technical guidance to team members.
Keeps management informed of progress and problems, and recommends changes in procedures and resources.
Consults with and advises development in areas of responsibility.
Maintains appropriate expertise to ensure effective service level.
Communicates with management personnel and information technology personnel to resolve operational and technical issues.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
